Irene Charlotte Harper
IRENE Charlotte Harper, came into this world on December 20th, 1915, and left our lives quickly but peacefully on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2013 at the tender age of 97. Left to cherish memories of her smile, wit and charm is her niece, Mrs. Iona Scheu of Edmonton, whom Irene loved as her own daughter, her friends and “adopted kids”, Jackie and Sam and of course Marilyn (Terri/Sherri), and “her girls” at Golden Acres Lodge. Irene was predeceased by her husband, Ross, her only child - a son, Dale in 2009, and her sister Hazel, in 2008. Keeping with Irene’s wishes, no formal service will be held, and along with her son their ashes will be placed at a later date.
