James "Jim" Gerard Hegedes
JAMES “JIM” GERARD HEGEDES, beloved husband of Kathy Hegedes, of Lethbridge, AB, passed away surrounded by family at Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at the age of 65 years.
A Memorial Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM with Deacon Jim Manzara officiating. For those unable to attend in person, the Memorial Service will be livestreamed and it may be viewed through Jim’s obituary on the Cornerstone website.

James was one of my first accordion students back in the 70's together with his brother. They went on to eventually form a dance band. I have always been proud of James achievements. My memories of him remember him as a quiet boy who worked hard on his music to become a proficient player.
