She is survived by the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Dustin Fika; her three beautiful cats: Arya, Nymeria, and Sansa; her parents, Chris Karras and Heather Doyle; and three sisters: Carmen Penner, Raylene Trépanier, and Jordiee Karras; as well as her four nieces and one nephew.

Jeannine grew up in Lethbridge and has resided in Bassano for the past 10 years. She had a passion for animals, anime, flowers and PC gaming. Jeannine was an avid gamer from a young age. She was loved by everyone she came in contact with. She was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew her.
This is such a huge loss to our family. She will be so greatly missed; Jeannine was a real-life angel taken too soon.
A Come and Go as you please, pay your respects and meet the family will be held in her childhood home on Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. For anyone who wants to share in memory of Jeannine, please stop by.

There are no words. I'm so sorry, for the huge loss. Jeannine was my best friend growing up. I remember countless sleepovers at Heather's and Chris's and also at my house. It was always me and Jeannine and Jordiee and Hannah. The best gift I ever received in my life was from Jeannine and Jordiee, my cat Pepper. My heart is so broken to hear the news. I will forever be thankful for those wonderful years we had together growing up. My love and thoughts are with you all
