MR. JERRY JENSEN, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Margaret Jensen, (nee Englehart) passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital from complications of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, awaiting a lung transplant on Friday, April 21st, 2017 at the age of 64 years.Besides his loving wife of 20 years, Margaret, Jerry is survived by his children: Scott (Tammy) Jensen and their children Jayden, Tristin, Jordyn and Eric and Michelle (Kelly Peters) Jensen and her children Trinity and Gage, and step-children Jennifer Fritz and David Fritz. He will also be fondly remembered by his siblings Annette (Jake) Hendricks, Monte Jensen, brothers-in-law Gordon Englehart and Harry Hubbard and sister-in-law Wendy Englehart as well as Margaret's mother Edith Andre and his first wife Rhea Elfring. Jerry was also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, too numerous to mention.Jerry was predeceased by his parents Marion and Louise Jensen, brother Ronald and sister-in-law Jean Jensen.Jerry was a skilled Journeyman Carpenter, he also spent a great amount of time helping his father on the family farm just outside of Purple Springs. For the last 15 years of his career he was a Home Inspector with Castle Home Inspections, his own company, which he was very proud of.Jerry was an excellent cook, and loved spending time in the kitchen coming up with his own recipes or even putting his own spin on recipes that he'd found elsewhere. He also enjoyed spending time in Mexico, going for long walks on the beach with his brother-in-law Jake. Jerry also had a keen interest in ancient Archeology.Family was very important to Jerry, he was always there to support them or perhaps simply cook a meal. He will also be missed by his dog, Jesse.In lieu of flowers and in memory of Jerry, take some time out in your day to fill out your Organ Donation Card.

A Celebration of Jerry's Life will be held at the ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION - 5205 48 Ave, Taber, AB, on Friday, May 5th, 2017 at 2:00 P.M.

Jerry did a lot of work for the Public Trustee and we all really enjoyed working with him. He was always willing to go the extra mile and we will certainly miss him.
