Jim (Shiu Check) Chu, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, July 3, 2014, at the age of 73.
Jim (Shiu Check) Chu, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, July 3, 2014, at the age of 73.
He is survived by his parents, Mah Gon and Park Woo; his loving wife, Julia; son, Gene; daughter, Lisa; sister in law, Penny; brother in law, Raymond (Tham Ying); brother, Tom (Angela); sister, May (Jeff); and nieces and nephews, Lindsay, Linden, Kristina, and Kyle.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at 2:00pm at Cornerstone Funeral Home - 2800 mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, Luncheon to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation - Box 2211, Lethbridge, Alberta, T1J 4K7.
