Judy married Rick on October 10, 1981. They spent many years travelling together with friends and family. Judy was a friend to all. Always making you feel welcome. She was so very talented, always sewing, baking, and gardening. Her homemade chocolates and butter horns were always a favourite. Judy loved anything western. She always loved celebrating birthdays, holidays, Mardi Gras, any reason to be with family and friends. She loved her Russian heritage and spent many evenings making borsht and pyrohy with her Bartsoff family.
The light of her life was her family, especially her grandkids. She was always front row, cheering them on, comfort in a late-night phone call, shopping dates, and sleepovers. Grandma was always there for them.
Judy was comfort, kindness, and caring. She left light wherever she went.
The family would like to thank the Raymond Health Care team and Dr. Kyle Bourne for their kindness and care.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at the TEMPLE HILL CEMETERY, Raymond, AB.
A Celebration of Judy’s Life will be held at a later date.

It has been our honor to know our cousin Judy. We met later in life when her and Cindy were organizing a family reunion. What a bunch of wonderful people. It saddens us to know another family member has passed from cancer. Such a vibrant and fun person! We will tip a shot of Jack to you tonight! May your family help each other and keep close. Love you all
Dear Rick, Jenna, Casey and families: Loving thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad and difficult time. Judy was a bright light in our world. I loved her no nonsense outlook and her positive vibes. She was so awesome, and loved all of you so much. Love and sympathy: Norma Ruth Cook Zobell
