VICTOR EDMUND KAUPP, beloved husband of LaVerne Kaupp of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the St. Michael's Health Centre - Palliative Care Unit, on Monday, June 14, 2021 at the age of 83 years.
Along with his wife, Victor is lovingly remembered by his sons, Ryan (Lisa) and Allan (Marlene) Kaupp; grandsons, Bryce, Brock (Tamaris) and Sean (Paige) Kaupp; sister, Mildred and brothers, August (Anne) and Lawrence (Dianna).
He was predeceased by five sisters and two brothers.
Victor was born in Lethbridge, June 23, 1937 and resided in New Dayton for most of his life where he farmed, supported community events, played in a dance band, curled, and played baseball. He served as President in many Associations including that of the New Dayton History Book. This was a project close to his heart and was completed in 1978 after many years of working as hard as he could to find everyone that ever lived in that area.
Victor enjoyed traveling when he had time and the money to do so. He was a farmer at heart and planted a garden large enough to feed everyone in New Dayton.
Victor was a kind, caring and generous person, a man of integrity, had a wonderful sense of humour and loved his family deeply. We will miss him forever.
His family would like to thank the Staff of the Palliative Care Unit, especially Celeste, for their excellent and loving care they gave our husband, father and grandfather. Our prayers will be devoted to all of you.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 12:30 P.M. with Father Kevin Tumback celebrating. The Mass will be live-streamed and may be accessed via Victor's obituary on the Cornerstone website.
Victor will be laid to rest in Mountain View Cemetery.
In memory of Victor, donations may be made to STARS Air Ambulance (stars.ca/ways-to-donate/ab/) or The Heart and Stroke Foundation (hsf.donorportal.ca/)

Auntie LaVerne, Ryan, Lisa, Allan, Marlene and families, we are so sad to hear of Uncle Vic's passing. Sending our Love and Prayers to you at this time.
LaVerne & family. So very sorry to read that Victor has passed away. So many memories growing up in New Dayton, singing in the choir, watching the ball games. Vic's sense of humour will be missed. I will remember all in my prayers.
Blessed are they that mourn; for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4 In your time of grief, we pray that you might hold on to the Lord's promise of peace, comfort and hope. We will be praying for you and all your family. May God bless you always.
Sympathies to all of you in this time of sorrow. Uncle Vic was a wonderful, caring and giving man and he will be sorely missed. Take care of each other.
We were very sorry to hear of Vic's passing.
My sincere condolences to Ryan and Allan and families. I didn't know Victor but I knew Ryan and Allan (they rode my parents school bus) and I considered them friends. I pray you are all comforted and strengthened during this time. In reading the obituary it's evident your father left wonderful memories for you to cherish. That is the greatest gift.
