It is with great sadness that BRUCE MILTON KOCH passed away peacefully, on Friday, February 5, 2021.

Bruce was born at the Vulcan Hospital in 1943. He grew up and attended school in Lomond, AB. Bruce had many jobs in his lifetime including: working at a sawmill in Quesnel, BC with Korny and being a contract painter for Alberta Wheat Pool. He farmed in Lomond all of his life, before retiring to Lethbridge on June 28, 2019.

A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Travers Cemetery on Monday, February 15, 2021. The casket bearers will be: William Darago, Ian Chapman, McKenzie Koch, Dakota Koch, Kelly Smith and Darrell Smith.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made in Bruce's memory to the Lomond Arena Building Fund or Travers Cemetery (Box 268, Lomond, AB, T0L 1G0).

Katherine Hollwey, February 7, 2021

My sincere sympathy goes out to Darlene - and to Brad, Kate, McKenzie and Dakota on the passing of Bruce! Although I have not seen much of Bruce is recent years, and especially since he retired to Lethbridge, he and his family were an important part of our community for generations. Bruce was a good farmer and will always be remembered for often having his crop in early and his harvest off "before the weather turned". He was a hard working man and I remember how often he helped us out by hauling grain when he was in the trucking business ... "back in the day". I always admired both Bruce and Darlene for the pride they took in their farm. The buildings were always painted up and their landscaping extended all the way out to the highway where their road sign and solar lights were markers on the way to Lethbridge. Bruce will be missed. Marvin Maronda of Lomond
