ANDREW "ANDY" JOHN KRAJEWSKI left us to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at the age of 66 surrounded by those that loved him, on a beautiful and calm fall morning. He goes now to join both his parents, and three brothers; John Joseph, Glen and Kenny.
Dad was born in Lethbridge, to John and Rose Krajewski on September 2, 1950. He graduated from Catholic Central High School, and then went on to attend university in Missoula, Montana. He had numerous careers throughout his life; working for Fish and Wildlife before joining the Environmental Sciences Department at the Lethbridge Community College. His passion for videography and self taught skills were applied to many years working and volunteering with The Miracle Channel where he was fondly referred to as "Andy Cam". He transitioned to Global Lethbridge, there he enjoyed the fast pace of tracking the days current events. After his retirement, he took a position working at the Coaldale Food Mart. Dad would probably say that the people he met and worked with made him the richest person you would ever know. As if all of this wasn't enough, he co-founded a videography company called Wild Moose Media where over the years he further honed his craft, and the headroom in his shots was always perfect. Finally, what he was most known for... "Andy's Glads". He was a gifted hybridizer and created many of his own varieties, always quick to inform that the gladiolus was the official flower of Lethbridge. He put his heart and soul into every single stem, his love for them evident to anyone who saw them.
Dad will always be remembered for his joviality, unending kindness, generosity and compassion. He would give you the shirt off his back, cause nothing mattered to dad more than his relationships with other people.
He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Daniel (Angela) Krajewski. He is survived by his sister Liz (Al) Beeber, his brothers Ed (Marlene) Krajewski and Rick Krajewski (Alex) as well as their families. He also leaves behind two aunts, numerous cousins and many friends, friends that he loved and valued like family.
He left us too early, but as dad would say "If it's my time, it's my time." He kept his battle with cancer very private, as would be his way. Rather, he would want you to remember the Andy that he was; a nature lover, fisher, music guru and the life of the party.
A Visitation will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME - 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB on Sunday, October 2, 2016 between 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M., with a short service beginning at 7:00 P.M.
A Celebration of Andy's Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Ralph Molyneux, officiant.
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Compassion Canada, 985 Adelaide Street S, London, ON, N6E 4A3.

I am very sorry for your loss Daniel, Andy, Rick Larson and i were fishing Buddies from the 70`s, I first met Andy when i was 13, through Rick, i just found out of his passing, Andy always seemed Happy, he had a smile for every one he met, May God Bless You Both
You were a true inspiration. Our business didn't allow a lot of time, but you stood out compared to anyone else I met in Southern AB. Always ready to help, and always ready to work. I wish you had stuck around for awhile, but all things must pass. I know you're still taking pictures from somewhere.
I am so sorry for your loss. I and my family will always remember how he came through for us by delivering beautiful gladiolas to my doorstep for my our dads funeral at no charge. Words can never express how special that was. You will miss him so much Daniel . Remember all the good memories. Perhaps he is planting up there with our dad. May you gather strength and comfort from your loved ones. Sincerely Gaya Mamula and Korthuis families
I was shocked and saddened to read about the passing of Andy. For a number of years I served on BOD of The Miracle Channel. I observed the hard work he put into locally produced programs. He was a team worker and displayed creativity in camera work. I regret that I didn't say thank you enough to him in life. He visited a number of times to Peigan Nation and recorded for us some services. He did the best in the lack of equipment. To his family and extended family I offer my sincerest condolences. Much prayers and love to you all.
Daniel (&Angela) we are so sorry to learn if your Dad's passing. We wish we could have met him here on earth, but we will meet him in heaven some day. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you celebrate the life of you father.

Hello and sincere sympathy to the Krajewski family. Andy was a good colleague and friend to us back in the day...as well as our Gladiola mentor. He will be missed. We are sorry to not be able to attend the service for him. Stan rarely leaves the house these days (wheelchair bound) and we both have bad colds. Hugs to you all!

My condolences to you Daniel on the loss of your father. He has left way too soon. I remember him from our school days as always likable and easy going. Say hello to your mom for me.
Daniel, I've just learned of your dad's passing. Please know that you've been on my mind these past few weeks. I've been thinking of how you assisted your dad to live safely, with dignity and you fulfilled his passion to share the joy generated by his beautiful flowers. You helped him finish the harvest and the final season of his life. I have tremendous compassion for all that you have experienced and the challenges that lay ahead. I never met your dad, but reading your words about his private nature is certainly reflected in you. Daniel, please know that I am part of your network of support; I'm truly saddened by your loss. Tracey
Sure was always fun, in the good old days. Glad I got to see you again with Rick for a Henry's lunch.
Andy was a remarkable man who loved and lived life to the fullest. We send our prayers and deepest condolences to Daniel & Angela, family, friends and colleagues. He will be missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Andy's family. Andy and I went to school together and have stayed friends and kept in touch. Loved when he came to the crowsnest Pass and we would run into him. I have never met anyone as happy as Andy or could make your day with his good nature. He has never changed from when we were in school.
For every thing, there is a season.... Andy will be waiting with a beer, a smile, and a glad for each of us :-)
My condolences to all family members. The times I spent with the krajewski family was touching and will always remember the precious moments shared with each one. One I will always remember is Andy's sense of humour. He always had an infectious smile and laugh. You can never not laugh around Andy. To me Andy had a heart of gold and always being there for others. May God shine brightly upon the family in their time of loss. I love you all.
On behalf of the Canadian Gladiolus Society I would like to express our deep sorrow in the loss of your Dad and our friend. Jack Hartwell, Secretary-treasurer CG S
