Dad was loved by all and was born with the gift of gab. He never forgot anyone he met. His favourite words were "gorgeous" and "beautiful" and he used them often. We adored our dad and know how proud he was of each and every one of us! He loved the cabin at Lake Newell and liked nothing better than to have each and every one of us and his siblings to show up, whether it was to go boating or to have numerous card or dice games, and maybe a drink or two! Dad loved life and lived it to the fullest, whether with family or friends, an afternoon at Smitty's or harvesting at the farm east of Coutts.
A Celebration of his Life will be held at ROCKY MOUNTAIN TURF CLUB GRANDSTAND, 3401 Parkside Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 2:00 P.M.
In memory of Andrew, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, #200, 119 - 14 Street N.W., Calgary, AB, T2N 1Z6, or to a charity of your choice.

Andy was a kind spirit, always had a smile and brightened the room when he walked in. He was a decent hard working man and will be sadly missed and a real treasure to know. Thanks Andy for making my life brighter and happier! RIP
"Paw"as I knew your Dad by better than Andy was one of the nicest men I first met when I started working at the Legion ! Paw would come in with this little tiny boy ,Brett and he'd say to "Paw" we gonna win today "Paw"? That's how I knew him , Paw would Horst Brett up onto the counter and I'd count the tickets out "Do you think this ones a winner? Brett would say Paw don't know but we better get out of this ladies way or she won't sell us any more tickets and off they'd go , not long to be back again sometimes winners sometimes not , no winners it was my Fault as "Paw" would say but buy more.Kelly I'm so sorry for the loss of such a Great Man I know he's going to be missed by all of us who knew him , he's now with your Mom and Colleen I'm sure wondering how "I can court them both .
