Don was my cousin on my mother's side. Many happy Christmases and family gatherings were celebrated at our Hood Grandparents on Boyd Avenue in Winnipeg. Fond memories, too of fun activities at Granite Lake, when we were growing up. We also made many trips to Regina to see the Larson family, before they all moved to Alberta. I haven't been in touch with Don for several years, but have had regular updates on his growing family from his sister Arlene. Sending my love and prayers to all of Don's family as well as to Cousins; Arlene Mayall and Carol Haney, their spouses and families.

Linda (Meyers)Budreau, December 22, 2022

Don was my cousin on my father's side. We haven't visited in person since 1976 when Don and Marg were gracious hosts, feeding my family to a delicious barbecued ham dinner and then taking us on a tour of the city sights. Don and I had spoken on the phone a couple of times in the last few years and Don always answered the phone with "Hi Pat" as if he was expecting my call and recognized my voice. We talked as if we spoke to each other once a week; the conversation flowed and the distance and years passed were of no consequence. Pierre and I send our since condolences to Marjorie and the family. I remember Don as a fun guy and I have no doubt that he will be greatly missed by his large family.
