Of all the teachers our kids had throughout their school years, there are several that stand out. Linda was one of them. She had a very positive influence and long after they graduated she would ask after them and take interest in where life had taken them. Thank you Linda. Our condolences to her family.
To Donna & Family So sorry to hear of Dons passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Ms. Schafer will always hold a close place in my heart. I appreciated that she treated her students like real people, even when we were just young kids. I have many fond memories in her third grade class at Spitzee, and am terribly sad to hear this news.
Very sad to hear this news. My son was blessed to have her as a teacher. Loved how enthusiastic and caring she was. She will be missed! Much love to her family!
I am heartbroken at the loss of Linda. It feels awkward calling her by her first name, since I was only 12 when we met. Linda was one of my favourite teachers, she had a wicked sense of humour and an infectious laugh and smile. I am grateful that she also taught one of my children and became a longtime friend to me. Linda truly saw the heart and soul of her students and went out of her way to connect with the ones that were maybe a bit lost. Sending my most heartfelt condolences to all of you.
Condolences to Linda’s family & friends. She was a great mentor in my early years when I taught with her. Conversations demonstrated how important her family all were to her & how much she cared. She will be missed.
