GLENN ALAN LOFTHOUSE passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 8, 2021 in Lethbridge, Alberta at the age of 65 years.
GLENN ALAN LOFTHOUSE passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 8, 2021 in Lethbridge, Alberta at the age of 65 years.
He was born on August 8, 1955 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario to parents Shirley Annie (Morgan) and Ronald (Lofthouse).
Glenn grew up in Hamilton with his siblings Linda, Larry, Sharon, Susan, Steven and Barbara.
He attended Mohawk College in Hamilton before moving out west to Alberta in the 80's to continue his studies and start his career as a land-surveyor. Some of the major projects Glenn worked on include the Vancouver LRT, Crowsnest Pass, Oldman River Dam & the Deerfoot Trail.
Glenn eventually settled down in Lethbridge, Alberta where he remained for the rest of his life.
He had one son, Joshua Ronald Lofthouse born in November of 1986.
Glenn had a passion for going on long scenic drives, visiting his favorite neighborhood pubs (and waitresses!) and had a special place in his heart for all children.
He is survived by his son Josh (Kara) Lofthouse, grandchildren Nixon & Ayla, mother Shirley (Ted) Morgan, siblings Larry, Linda, Susan, Sharon & Barbara (Steve) as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his father Ronald (Ron) Lofthouse, his brother Steven Lofthouse, brother-in-law and good friend, Ed Hunter, as well as brother-in-law Bill Douglas.
Glenn will be remembered for his unique sense of humor and his kind heart.
Rest Easy, Glenn. You will be missed.

Sorry to hear this news. Glenn was one of the first people that met when I moved to Lethbridge. We had a great friendship through the years Even though not on a daily basis but when we met up, it was like no time had past. My deepest condolences especially to Pam and Josh and to the rest of the family. Hope he finally finds peace

So sorry here. Glenn was one of the good guys.I always enjoyed his company and and his sense of humor. Although its been years since our "Monday night football" days down at the old Boston pizza and i have not seen him in many years, i will truly miss him. "Glenny" Iam going to ice up a few cold ones , and have few in your memory.
