LENORA IRENE LUMLEY, (née Kesler) beloved wife of Murray Lumley, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the age of 85 years.

Lenora was born on March 21, 1933 in Lethbridge at the Galt Hospital. She lived in the Lethbridge area all of her life. She contracted Polio at age 15 and spent time in the Isolation Hospital. Lenora married the love of her life, Murray, on December 27, 1952, a few days before he shipped overseas to Korea. They had 66 wonderful years together.

Lenora organized all the food for the Hilltoppers Gynkhana Club for many years. She and Murray were lifetime members. She and Murray were excellent dancers and taught the Old Tyme dance in their basement. They were members of the Pioneer Pemican Club in Lethbridge and attended many dances. Lenora was also a member of the Coalhurst 55+ Club. She and Murray also loved to camp with family and held many family dinners in their home.

The family would like to thank the caregivers from Lethbridge Family Services, Coalhurst Firefighters and Lethbridge Ambulance Service for all the great care she received. Also thanks for the excellent care mom received from the doctors and nursing staff at the Chinook Regional Hospital.

A Celebration of Lenora's Life and a Come and Go Reception will be held at the COALHURST COMMUNITY CENTRE, 527 - 50 Avenue, Coalhurst, AB, on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.

Words that spring to mind about Lenora are caring, loving, generous, talented, people person and humorous. I am struggling with the fact she is gone. There is a big hole in my heart.

Kathy Lea, March 2, 2019

To Murray and family, It is with sincere sadness that I read about the passing of Lenora this morning. I will always keep fond memories of this wonderful friend. I have enjoyed her company during our many visits and loved the meals eaten at your table. The food was so delicious and the warm and sincere welcoming received at all time was amazing. May you find comfort in each others during this difficult time. Sending your way much love and support.

Aunt Lenora was such a warm, giving, funny and loving lady. Always enjoyed her hand-written Christmas cards. Will always keep my salt and peppers shakers to remind me of her and her huge collection. Our thoughts are with you all! Hugs!
