It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of ALAN MACPHERSON, at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Monday, March 14, 2016 at the age of 44 years. Alan was born on August 15, 1971 in Peniciuk, Scotland to John and Moira MacPherson.
Alan married the love of his life, his best friend Sheena, on May 11, 1996. During their early years of marriage, Sheena and Alan were able to enjoy many years of travelling to places such as Germany, Italy, France, Austria and Switzerland to only name a few. On November 18, 2002, Alan and Sheena welcomed their beautiful baby girl Louise Moira. Louise was the light in her Daddy's life; the sparkle in his eye, the spring in his step. In October 2007, Alan, Sheena and Louise left Scotland and moved to Canada to build a new life and live their dream.
Alan is survived by his beautiful wife Sheena, his beautiful daughter Louise, his father John MacPherson, his sister Susan (nieces Lisa and Sarah Jane and nephew Scott) MacPherson, sister Jane (nephew Aiden and niece Eilidh) MacPherson, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Alan was predeceased by his mother Moira MacPherson.
Alan will be sadly missed by all who knew him, including his drinking buddies at Backstreet West.
A Celebration of Alan's Life will be held at the UNIVERSITY DRIVE ALLIANCE CHURCH, 55 Columbia Blvd. West, Lethbridge, AB, on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at 5:00 P.M. with Pastor Brian Palsky officiating.

I would like to offer my condolences and those of my fellow staff members. Alan was the light in our Tuesday's when he would deliver our groceries. We would joke around and enjoy a good laugh with him. I lost my husband a year ago and I know how empty your heart feels please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and you family.
