With great sadness we announce the death of RICK MAHON, beloved husband of Florence, at St Michael's Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit in Lethbridge after a prolonged battle with cancer.
With great sadness we announce the death of RICK MAHON, beloved husband of Florence, at St Michael's Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit in Lethbridge after a prolonged battle with cancer.
Known for his chainsaw carvings, his Taiko drumming, his love of karate and his sense of humor, Rick is survived by his loving wife, Florence, step-sons Glenn Hamilton (Debbie) and Garth Hamilton, and many friends and family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 317 - 10 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 2M7 or The Heart and Stroke Foundation, PO Box 2211, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 4K7

Our hearts are with you Florence even though we are miles apart. RICK was a wonderful man and we know was your soul mate. We truly were blessed to have known him and to have spent time with him. We know how much you will ,miss him, but he is no longer suffering and that too is a blessing. Please know you are always in our thoughts.

I was so sorry to hear of Rick's passing. He always gave me a big smile & hug whenever we met and I will surely miss that.
