H?L?NE MARCOTTE passed suddenly but peacefully in her home with her husband by her side in Coaldale, AB on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the age of 60 years.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Ian Anderson of Coaldale; her children, Evan (Jenna) Huizing of Sherwood Park, Sara (Adam) Savidant of Sparwood, Denis Huizing (Jacalyn Moore) of Lethbridge; her six beloved grandchildren, Lucas, Royce, Tyson, Edwin, Clara and Peyton; her parents, Claude Marcotte and Monique Ricard of Grosses-Roches, QC; and her siblings, Guy (Laura) Marcotte of Greenwood, NS and Diane Marcotte of Dartmouth, NS.
H?l?ne was known by many names but most often as Mom and M?M?. Her greatest accomplishment was raising her 3 children. H?l?ne was a nurturer who loved any little one who wandered into her life, especially her grandchildren. She was a selfless individual that accepted all for who they were: a true down-to-earth individual who only ever longed for one thing, her next opportunity to travel east to the shores of the Saint Lawrence and her hometown of Grosses-Roches. H?l?ne lived her life to the fullest and always put others first, she never missed an opportunity to remind everyone of how special they were by contacting them on every birthday, anniversary, and special occasion. Her joie de vivre and infectious laugh brightened the day of anyone who had the pleasure of sharing it with her.
There are not enough words to describe the loss of those who are now without their Gypsy Queen.
I love you forever, I like you for always, as long as I'm living my Mommy you'll be.
H?l?ne's family invites you to join them in a celebration of her life. A service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. The service will be livestreamed and may be accessed via H?l?ne's obituary on the Cornerstone website.
A reception will follow directly thereafter at the KINSMEN PICNIC SHELTER, 16 Avenue and 23rd St., Coaldale, AB. A group picture will be MANDATORY for all in attendance around 2:00 P.M. in the shelter's courtyard as she would have wanted.

Goodbye H?l?ne, I will see you on the other side. I love you.
We all went to High School together and have many fond and wonderful memories. None like the first day we heard someone speaking fluent French in our halls. Helene was not long in making many life long friends who loved her. Our sincere condolences to all her family, she was one of a kind. Xo
Forever loved and never forgotten & I will always share the love you shared with me.
So very sad to hear about your loss.
We are created for the purpose of Love. To give Love, to receive Love, and show others how to Love. H?l?ne fulfilled her purpose here on Earth and will be deeply missed.
H?l?ne was a cousin very important to me. Even though we were living several provinces apart, each time I had the pleasure to meet her, it was a real celebration. As I read all the tributes on the social networks, I see that we all benefited of the immense love and kindness she shared all around her. I would like to tell especially to her husband Ian, to her children Evan, Sara and Denis that they were pretty lucky to live by her side. Little cousins, we never had the occasion to meet yet, but I hope that when this happen, we will feel H?l?ne's >. My husband Daniel, my daughter Constance, my son Louis-?tienne and I, we offer you our deepest condolences. Liara Brault, niece of Claude and Monique Marcotte.
