It is with the deepest regret and sadness, that we must announce the passing of our sweet boy, KAYDEN LAURIE MARPLES, with his loving family by his side, at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the young age of 18 months.

It is with the deepest regret and sadness, that we must announce the passing of our sweet boy, KAYDEN LAURIE MARPLES, with his loving family by his side, at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the young age of 18 months.

Kayden was a fun, loving and bubbly boy. He loved to say "hi" to everyone, waved at everyone he saw, loved blowing kisses and giving hugs and kisses. Kayden had the most infectious smile and laugh; he could turn anyone's mood around just by being with them.

Kayden loved snuggling with his family, going to daycare to play with his friends, and if we let him, he would eat Cheerios and yogurt for every meal. Kayden loved being at home playing with his sister, dad, mom and all other family. He loved reading books and his favourite book was "Never Touch the Grumpy Pumpkin", he loved to be sang to, loved dancing and his favourite show was "The Wiggles".

Kayden is survived by his mom Kayle, his dad Trenton, and his big sister Skyler. He was also survived by his grandad Matt (Julie); his maternal great-grandparents in Alberta, Dave and Donna; his great-grandmother in Ontario, Gale; his paternal grandmother and grandfather, Cindy and Mike; aunt Danielle (Robert), aunt Cheryl, aunt Wendy (Paul), aunt Samantha and aunt Riley; uncle Matthew (Taylor) and uncle Kelly, uncle Barry, uncle Daniel, uncle Logan and uncle Alex; As well as numerous cousins: Melissa, Jessica, Aidan, Payton, Tegan, Jade, Faith, William, Thomas and Emberlee and numerous other extended family members.

Kayden was predeceased by his Big Nana Laurie, as well as his great-grandfather Ken.

Kayden will forever be missed by everyone he ever met. He was loved beyond measure, and he will never be forgotten.

A public Viewing for Kayden will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 - 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., with a Service to follow at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Ralph Molyneux officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (sudc.org).
