RICHARD "MATTY" MATLOCK, beloved husband of LouAnne Matlock, of Coaldale, passed away at the Coaldale Long Term Care Centre, on Monday, March 23, 2020 at the age of 77 years.
RICHARD "MATTY" MATLOCK, beloved husband of LouAnne Matlock, of Coaldale, passed away at the Coaldale Long Term Care Centre, on Monday, March 23, 2020 at the age of 77 years.
Besides his loving wife LouAnne, Richard is survived by their daughter Staci (Ryan) Bayliss and four grandchildren: Aiden, Jaxon, Paige and Montana. Richard will also be remembered by his daughters Vee and Robyn and son Brad, brother Robert (Gail) Matlock and extended family Sean (Jayme) Erickson as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Richard was predeceased by his parents, Orin and Ivy as well as brothers Les and Cliff.
Matty will be laid to rest in Milk River Cemetery on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 2:00 PM. Afterward, a Come-and-Go Memorial will be held at ARMY NAVY & AIRFORCE VETERANS CLUB, 517 - 5 Ave. S, Lethbridge, AB, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, with a short service at 4:30 PM. Please dress sports casual.
Due to COVID-19, there is a gathering restriction of up to 100 people. All safety precautions set in place will be strictly followed.
No flowers by request. In lieu, please consider a donation to Lethbridge Little League (Box 1687, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 0L3).

Hi LouAnne I was saddened to read of Richards passing. He was a fighter to the end. You were the best wife he could have ever asked for. I will always remember the video you posted of you two dancing not that long ago. You are strong but don't forget to lean on friends and family during this time. Keep in touch.
