ANNE MARY MCILHARGEY, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Fairmont Extendicare on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at the age of 81 years.
ANNE MARY MCILHARGEY, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Fairmont Extendicare on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at the age of 81 years.
Left to cherish Anne's memory are her sons Patrick (Debbie) McIlhargey of Saskatoon, SK, Daniel (Eleanor) McIlhargey of Victoria, BC, David McIlhargey of Seattle, WA, her daughter Lynn (David) Westlake of Lethbridge, AB and her grandchildren Austin, Sean, Kiera and Tegan.
Anne was predeceased by her son John Michael McIlhargey Jr. and her husband John Michael "Mike" McIlhargey.
Born in Milwaukee, WI on March 30, 1936, she and her family moved to Ponca City, OK where she was raised. She met her husband, Mike, while attending the University of Oklahoma and they married on June 15, 1957. Together, they resided in Calgary where they raised their family. As a dedicated helper, Anne spent countless hours volunteering at Calgary schools and the Father Lacombe Nursing Home.
A Graveside Service will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery in Calgary at a later date.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the compassionate staff at Black Rock Terrace, Good Samaritans North and Fairmont Extendicare.

Condolences to the Family. We became friends in the condo and shared laughs over a cup of coffee and enjoyed our times together, Rest in peace Anne . She shared the love for her family and for her Grandchildren and was proud of them.
