SUSAN MARIE METZ, beloved friend of Ed Parson of Lethbridge, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the age of 67 years.
SUSAN MARIE METZ, beloved friend of Ed Parson of Lethbridge, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the age of 67 years.
Susan is survived by her sons, Richard Forsyth & Brian (Jennifer) Forsyth and by her grandchildren, Ryan Forsyth, Tyler Forsyth, Mark Forsyth, Brian (BJ) Forsyth & Morgan Phillips, all of Lethbridge, as well as two great-grandchildren, her brothers, Steve (Susan) Filkowski of Meadow Lake, SK & Ron Filkowski of Coaldale and her sister, Sharon (Jim) Tyrer of Lethbridge, as well as many other family and lots of friends that she called family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Walter & Anne Filkowski.
Susan was born in Lethbridge and raised on a farm in Coaldale. She loved traveling, especially going on cruises. She also loved baking and cooking and always made the most wonderful treats for her family to enjoy. She cherished her group of coffee ladies and the countless memories and laughs they shared together. She was a gentle soul that adored cats and dogs. She loved to laugh and always wore a big and infectious smile. Susan was a caring, compassionate and generous woman and she will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Susan's Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Glenda Wert officiating.
Donations in Susan's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, #200, 119 - 14 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6.

I am one of Susan's many aqua jog friends. We had a lot of laughs together. I liked her the moment I met her and grew to love her. There is a big hole in our group now. She was such a sweet, generous and all around lovely human being. I will miss her dearly. So sorry for your loss. Much love and hugs.

Susan was an angel on earth, my little Lexi loved her like a grandma, she was a dear friend to me in the short time we knew her. She will be greatly missed. Prayers to the family.
