JOHANNES "JOE" MEYERING, beloved husband of Jantine "Tina" Meyering, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 10th, 2022 at the age of 89 years.
JOHANNES "JOE" MEYERING, beloved husband of Jantine "Tina" Meyering, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 10th, 2022 at the age of 89 years.
Joe was born on June 1, 1932 in the town of Groningen, The Netherlands. He married his lifelong partner, Tina, on April 2nd, 1955. Ten days later on April 12th, they immigrated to Canada.
Joe and Tina made life-long memories travelling around Canada and the USA in various RVs. Once they retired, they spent 11 years wintering in Arizona.
Joe enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, waterskiing and snow skiing. He loved his dogs and took them everywhere. Joe and Tina biked thousands of miles on their electric bikes.
Left with cherished memories are Tina, his beloved wife of 66 years; children, Bert (Corrina), Dick (Debbie) and Dinah (Rory) Sailer; grandchildren, Chelsea, Geoff, Devon and Danielle; and great-grandchildren, Braeden, Jayde, Aspen, August, Archer and Austyn.
At Joe's request, there will be no formal funeral service.

Tina (& family), so very sorry to hear of your loss. Although its been many, many years since I last saw you Tina, I'll always remember Joe as being such a teaser with a big smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

My condolences to the families. Joe was one of my first customers when I started at Dunlop Toyota and then Lethbridge Toyota. Whether speaking in English or Dutch, there were a lot of laughs and a lot of smiles between the two of us!
