Mogus, Cory Lorraine
It is with profound sadness and gentle relief that the family of CORY MOGUS announces her passing. A spark of life taken far too soon after a five-year journey with cancer that she coped with by "living in denial". She focused on enjoying life and staying positive.

While we never had the privilege of meeting Cory in person, we came to know her through our friends Sue & Dave. She was a remarkable person who really lived her life to the full. Her bravery and positive attitude were a lesson for us all. We would like to send our heartfelt condolences to Cory's family and friends at this sad time. David & Jacky Lawrence
We extend our deepest sympathy on the loss of your sister, Cory. May your beautiful memories help to give you peace in your time of grief.
I didn't see Cory often but, when I did, she always had that great smile - she has gone too soon but I'm sure that she'll be getting some of the ol' gang back together up in heaven (Punchy, Ronnie, Terry Lynn ...). My sympathies & prayers go out to Viola, Cindy & Charlene during this sad time.
Sending deepest condolences to the Mogus family at this difficult time. Cory was a long time friend and at one time co-worker. We had good times Bowling against each other and maybe a few drinks were had as well.
I am sorry and sad to hear that Cory lost her battle. She was such a strong sole and so caring. I thoroughly enjoyed her company and talks as we walked the links at Land-O-Lakes for evening league. She did face every challenge with dignity and grace. She will be missed by many. I will play my first round this season in her honour. Take care of each other at this time and I hope happy memories keep you going. from Shirley Loewen, Land-O-Lakes Golfer and league mate
Cory was an amazing person! You would never be able to tell how ill she was, because she was always smiling and always had a positive outlook on life. She was always so kind and patient with me. Her passing is a great loss to all who knew her, but I am comforted knowing she is now free of her pain and suffering. Rest in peace.
I had pleasure of meeting Cory when I threw a surprise B.D. party for my wife a few years back. Cory had gone to school with Michele, ( Emery ).What a totally beautiful and genuine soul she is. She had that gift of being your old friend even though you may have just met her. What a sweet and beautiful soul. May you find comfort in the arms of the Angels.
My heartfelt condolences to Cory's family and friends. She was an esteemed colleague, but most importantly a friend. We were able to share many laughs over the years and I enjoyed hearing her stories about her many adventures. Despite all she faced, she always maintained a positive outlook. She will be deeply missed.

We had the pleasure of getting to know Cory through our mutual friends Sue & Dave Edwards. She was such a warm and gentle spirit with an obvious zest for life. She had such a positive attitude in the face of diversity, always with a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eyes. She will be missed!
Dear Cory I miss seeing you at all our work stuff, making jokes about the quality of the buffet at the AGM, and just your kindness every time we met. You're one of the best! Take care whereever you are now, all blessings. ~Vicki
Cory and I worked together in the Intake team at Employment Standards. While we did not work side-by-side (my office is in Edmonton), she was always so lovely to talk to over the phone and when we would see each other at our annual general meetings. She had a great sense of humour and a great outlook on life. We had a good chat by phone just a few weeks ago, and I was so happy to hear that she was still participating in her Taiko drum performances. We will miss you, Cory!
