With broken hearts, we announce that our precious son, SHANE MULATZ, passed away in Lethbridge on August 7, 2022 at the age of 49 years.
Shane is survived by his daughter Shalee, parents Les and Joanne Mulatz, ex Barb, stepchildren Amanda and Bryan, sister Amanda Lee, uncles Tom, Alex, Henry, Mickey, Fern, Guy and John, aunts Maria, Helga, Donna and Carol, and cousins Sonny, Natashia, Jessie, Heidi, Josh, Kevin, Kendra, Lorry, Noreen, Lacey, Tim, Jennifer and Melisa.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Leo & Ann and John & Jolan, uncles Joe, Lyle and Norman, aunts Terry, Kathy and Sheila, and cousins TJ, MaryAnn and Adele.
Shane was born April 21, 1973 and was the centre of our universe. He was a busy little guy right from the get-go, always on the move and never stopping. He loved biking and motocross, as well as hockey, soccer, tae kwon do and baseball. He also loved camping, hunting, cooking and muscle cars. He enjoyed fixing and rebuilding anything he could get his hands on.
He always had lots of friends. He loved to talk and would talk to anyone he crossed paths with — even a stranger would feel good after meeting Shane! But the love of his life was his daughter Shalee. Words couldn't describe how much he loved his baby; she was his bestfriend. He also loved spending time with Amanda and Bryan.
Shane worked for the City of Lethbridge and was a very hard worker. As a man of many talents, there wasn't much he couldn't or wouldn't tackle.
We will miss his infectious smile and be left with a hole in our hearts forever.
A Celebration of Shane's Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 32 St. S, Lethbridge on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 12 p.m. with Patrick Siedlecki officiating.
