Muriel Anderson

She was born in Innisfail October 30, 1929. She grew up in Innisfail, Thorne and Ensign.

She worked in Woolworths in Calgary and the Vulcan Hospital, from 1946 to 1952.

She married Charles Anderson in 1952 and they had six children: David, Robert (Denise), Christopher (Una), Kathleen (Cal), Freeman, Marguerite, and Loretta (Rob) Fath.

She also has five cherished grandchildren that gave her great joy: Jennifer Oldfield, Stephanie (Shilo), MacDougald, Jason (Shantel) Fath, Melanie (Rob) Burke, Ashley (Josh) Hansen. As well as eleven great grandchildren.

Mom loved the Lord. She was a gardener extraordinaire. In the Spring, Dad shared his garage with the many seedling trays. Mom always said the garden belonged to God and she felt very close to him there.

We are very grateful for the many years we had with Mom. She will be incredibly missed.

A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at the Village of Champion Cemetery, where Muriel will be laid to rest with her husband Charles.
