It is with profound sadness, but gentle relief the family of DARRYL LLOYD NICKEL, beloved husband of Diana Nickel, announce his passing at St. Michael's Health Centre, on Monday, March 2, 2020 at the age of 73 years.
It is with profound sadness, but gentle relief the family of DARRYL LLOYD NICKEL, beloved husband of Diana Nickel, announce his passing at St. Michael's Health Centre, on Monday, March 2, 2020 at the age of 73 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Diana, and his sons, Jeff (Andrea), Tyler (Gita), and Dayne (Katie), all of Lethbridge. He also leaves to mourn seven beautiful grandchildren, as well as many cousins and friends.
Darryl will always be remembered as a kind and humble man. He was a true gentleman who was always the voice of reason. Our time with Darryl was not long enough, and his patience and wisdom will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at THE LUTHERAN CHURCH OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD, 2406 - 11 Ave. S, Lethbridge, AB, on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Kathy Calkins officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Darryl's name may be made to the Parkinson Association of Alberta at www.parkinsonassociation.ca/donate-now.

We have fond memories of your time in Hodgeville and being neighbours. The hockey games, ball games, teaching your boys in Grade 2. You guys were so involved with your young family and with supporting the community. Our sincere sympathy to you, your boys, and their families.
