MARIA "MARY" PALADINO, of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mike Paladino, passed away after a long, courageous battle with cancer at the St. Michael's Health Centre - Palliative Care Unit, on Monday, July 4th, 2016 at the age of 80 Years.

Mary was born April 24, 1936 in Civitanova del Sannio, Italy to Dominico and Emmelina Maselli. In 1956, Mary came to Canada and married her husband, Mike Paladino. They resided in Fort Macleod until moving to Lethbridge in 1971, where Mary had a long employment with Canadian Furriers. Mary was an accomplished seamstress. She enjoyed sewing for friends and family, even making her own patterns. She sewed everything from baby clothes to wedding gowns. Every dress she made for her daughter came with a matching dress for the Barbie dolls. She was so passionate about her fabric, often times buying yards of it she thought was so beautiful, that she refused to cut it.
