It is with great sadness that the family of GLEN PAYNE announce his sudden death on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at the age of 64.

He is survived by his loving wife Patsy, his brother Lloyd (Jean) and his sister Beryl (Lynn), four step-children; Mike (Lauren), Wendy (Sheldon), Paul (Kyra), Janice and six grandchildren, as well as numerous cousins.

Glen spent most of his life in Lethbridge and will be remembered as a skilled carpenter both in construction and with the Lethbridge School Division. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, he was a very active and much loved member of the congregation. Glen loved our Creator, the earth and all things in it. He was also an avid hunter, fisherman, and lover of the outdoors. His fondness for his golden retrievers was well known.

Glen had many endearing qualities. He was a deeply compassionate man who was very quick to lend a hand when others were in need. He lovingly and loyally cared for his first wife, Robin, through many years of sickness until her death. He had a great sense of humor and was always looking for a good joke to share with family and friends. Widely known in the community he was loved and respected by all. Even though Glen had no children of his own, he loved them dearly and children were drawn by his gentle and kind nature.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Grand Ballroom at the COAST LETHBRIDGE HOTEL & CONFERENCE CENTRE, 526 Mayor Magrath Dr S, Lethbridge, AB, on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 7:30 P.M. We welcome you to attend. A reception with refreshments will follow the service.
