It is with great sadness that the family of LAWRENCE HENRY PETRAS announce his peaceful passing at St. Michael's Health Centre, on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at the age of 70 years.
It is with great sadness that the family of LAWRENCE HENRY PETRAS announce his peaceful passing at St. Michael's Health Centre, on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at the age of 70 years.
Larry is lovingly remembered by his brothers: Tom (Eileen) Petras of Aldergrove, BC, and Ken Petras of Coleman, AB; and cherished by his numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews in Alberta and BC.
He was predeceased by his brothers: Keith and Frank Jr, and sister-in-law Edith.
In the last few years of his life, Larry overcame many personal challenges and difficulties. He was a happy man, with a positive outlook on life. Larry will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
At the family's request, there will be no formal service.
Cremation entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home.

Wasn’t just an uncle. Father to a son and unknown to four grand children. His life could have been much fuller by the lack of any meaningful comments. RIP. Sorry I never got to meet you.
I'm so sorry about hearing about Larry. I've only known him for a couple of years from my visits to St. Mike's. I always stopped and chatted with him (mostly about his old Calgary Flames ball cap and how bad the Flames were doing). He was a good guy who always wanted to give my dog a pet when I brought him. Rest in Peace buddy.
Very happy Uncle Larry lived a long and happy life but so very sad for the sadness those closest to him are feeling right now. My heart is with you in this time.
