I had no idea that you would be gone so soon. I hope that you are now in a place free from pain and sickness and we will meet again soon. Thanks for all the advice, memories and joy and I will really miss you!

FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS Harrowing was the news that reached our ears, So distressing, it dimmed all of life’s cheers. Nothing in the world could’ve prepared us for such a report Renee’s GONE!? O, No! Who would’ve thought? You’d just spoken with us, that you’ll be back soon, Only to leave in our hearts - days later - such an immense vacuum. The labs, hallways, foyer and lunch room are immeasurably dimmer, Forever void of your illuminating presence, smile and hearty laughter. Palpable was your love and kindness to everyone you worked with, Irrespective of their background, position, affiliations or faith. Highly credited with creating such a positive environment in the Laboratory, You’ll always be remembered for your incredible charm and infectious personality. Even during the intermittent periods taken off to convalesce, You always pushed yourself to be back, regardless. Your remarkable work ethics in productivity, professionalism, unwavering dedication and august passion, Undoubtedly contributed immensely to CFIA’s mission. At various social gatherings your cheerfulness still shone through, Touching everyone present; even those you barely knew. You were truly well-loved by all to whom you were known, At work, in the community, wherever the zone. Family, friends and acquaintances attest to your caring nature In happy times, or sad moments, always there with such a calming posture. Whatever the situation anyone faced, we are told, “Renee was there”, beaming like lustrous gold. Your voice still reverberates through our aching hearts O, that smile and kind words, some cheer to impart. We’re hanging onto every memory - as one does for dear life Hoping someway, somehow you’ll come back to life. Questions still flood our minds as the days go by, Dominating them all, is the simple question: “WHY?” Though words fail us to describe this painful loss, You fought valiantly and stayed the course. REST WELL, RENEE. Rest so well. May the memory of your extraordinary life live on. You’ll be sourly missed. Kingsley & Adlaina Lethbridge.

Renee was one of those people who just lit up any space she was in with her beautiful smile and warm welcoming personality. The world is less without you. Sending light, love and thoughts to everyone who is missing her.

Kevin and family. I am heartbroken for your loss.

I worked at ADRI for many years and was very lucky, indeed, to have served for a time on the social committee with the dynamic duo, R & R, of which Renee was half. Whether it was the annual Coulee Clean Up, Halloween costumes, the great cake bake off (Renee's melting snowman cake was ridonkulously clever and yummy), Bake sale, Easter egg hunt and staff lunch, summer family BBQ, Christmas banquet, potluck lunch, taco in a bag, golf tournament, etc. etc. Renee was always up to something good, helping to bolster staff morale and keep us all guessing - what colour will Renee's hair be this week? No matter how stressful our workdays got, I could always count on Renee to take a minute, smile and ask "What's up, buttercup?" Renee also did the Moonlight Run with her Dad every March and encouraged all of us to be the very best version of ourselves, at work and in our lives. We love you Renee and will miss you more than words can say.
