BETTY ROCKENBACH, passed away peacefully at Edith Cavell Care Centre on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at the age of 94 years.

BETTY ROCKENBACH, passed away peacefully at Edith Cavell Care Centre on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at the age of 94 years.

Betty was born in Raymond, Alberta on February 6, 1926, daughter of Allan and Emma Erickson. She grew up on the farm in Wrentham, Alberta. She married Charlie Rockenbach on June 5, 1944. They farmed in Wrentham all of their lives. Betty worked tirelessly alongside Charlie. Betty loved to garden and her favorite flower was a variety of gladiolas. She was always available to her children and grandchildren no matter what the circumstance. Christmas was a special time of year for her. Betty volunteered in various community activities. She was always helpful to ones in need.

Betty will be forever remembered by her children, Dianna (Tom) Ivins and their daughter Tanya (Cole) Nelson; Morgan (Lenore) Rockenbach and their children Jason, Amber and Logan ; Kim Rockenbach and his children Kyle and Krista; four great-grandchildren Haley and Falen Nelson, Mackenzie Goodwin and Maddox Rockenbach; two step great-grandchildren Jessica and Taylor Brown.  She is also survived by three sisters, Ruth (Tom) Cronkhite, Gail Jensen, Lorna (Ray) Hintze and brother, David Erickson.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband Charlie Rockenbach, granddaughter Kaitlan Rockenbach and two sisters Donna Bowerman and Cheryl Erickson.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
