Julia had twelve grandchildren whom she loved and had a special bond with, (every single one in her own special way) as well as numerous great-grandchildren. Julia was predeceased by her husband Nick Romanchuk, stepson Glenn Romanchuk, Sister Mary Perkovic, Niece Kathy Megalla and many other family members.
Julia was born in Bankovci, Yugoslavia, (now Croatia) to Michael and Elizabeth Sisjulak. Julia was a very hard worker all her life doing many odd jobs to be able to provide for her family. Julia loved crocheting, knitting, gardening, yard work, dancing, camping and was an amazing baker and cook. Julia's family would like to thank Blue Sky Lodge and the Coaldale Health Care Long Term Facility staff for their love and compassion that they gave her, and everybody else that had an impact on her life.
A Memorial Service will be held at MIKE'S HOME: 1422 84 STREET, COLEMAN (CROWSNEST PASS), on Saturday, May 28, 2016 starting at 1:00 P.M. If you need directions, please feel free to contact family.

We are thinking of you and your family at this difficult time. a loved one is hard to let go, but memories of them are always in our hearts to hold forever.
My condolence to all of Julia's family. Julia was a woman stern but kind and giving. She showed kindness and generosity to all, friends and strangers. Her wonderful virtues were passed on to all of her children and family. A hard working, compassionate person, she taught us all the important life skills growing up in the community. She will be missed but never forgotten. I hope she didn't take her broom with her to her new resting place. The one she used to chase me with in Diamond City when I drove my car up and down the dusty streets while she had wash hanging on the outside clothesline. Julia is gone but will never be forgotten. She leaves all of her goodness and kindness to her children and friends to carry on. Unfortunately I am unable to attend to attend Julia's Memorial Service. My thoughts and prayers to Julia and all her wonderful family.
