She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anton and son, Jeff.

Mom was born in 1931 in Biggar, Saskatchewan to John and Hattie Fraser. She married Anton Anhelher in September 1949, and together, had seven children.

Ruby was a pastor at her church, Lighthouse Full Gospel Church, in Stand Off on the Blood Reserve for 27 years and it was her passion and her whole life until she retired.

We will celebrate Mom with a private Graveside Ceremony in Medicine Hat, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Streets Alive Mission (streetsalive.ca)

I have the greatest memories of working with Ruby in the design and renovations at the Lighthouse Gospel Church. Ruby had incredible drive and passion to see God glorified in all that she took on. "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the LORD, not for humans, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the LORD as a reward. It is the LORD Christ you are serving." Colossians 3:23-24 has taken on new meaning to me in the context of the life Ruby lived.

We have such respect for your mother and all that she did for the people around her. May her legacy live on, and may you remember her for the beautiful child of God that she was. Our deepest condolences to you and your family.

Ruby blessed so many of us in so many ways. Ruby was a stalwart support to the indigenous community and served faithfully well into her retirement years. In my spirit I can hear our Lord Jesus Christ saying “well done my good and faithful servant”
