MR. JOHANN RUDOLF NIGGLI beloved husband of Mrs. Irma (Nee Barak) Niggli passed away at the Milk River Extendicare in the early hours on Saturday, October 13th, 2007 at the age of 89 years. Rudy was born in Klosters, Switzerland on August 8, 1918. In 1951 he immigrated to Canada where he worked for a few local farmers before buying his own farm east of Warner. His passions were skiing and farming, which he continued to do into his 80’s. Rudy loved his cats, dogs and Swiss chocolate. Besides his loving wife Irma of 53 years, Rudy is survived by one son Tom (Trudy) and 4 grandchildren; Tracy, Trevor, Teresa and Taralyn. A PRIVATE FAMILY Graveside Service will be held at the MILK RIVER CEMETERY on Tuesday, October 16, 2007. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Tributes may be made to the New Ambulance Fund; made payable to the Town of Milk River, Box 270, Milk River, AB, T0K 1M0.
