We had the pleasure of meeting you and Curtis one time at a rooftop in Chicago (Hotel Palomar). You and another couple were preparing to attend some baseball games, and Curtis provided a Miller Genuine Draft and endless entertainment. Curtis had a long lasting impact on us! His jokes, stories, human spirit and heart were first rate. My colleague Marc and I often recite a few of his quotes at work. We were discussing it today at work and saw the obituary. Please accept our deepest sympathies, he was a gem of a human being.

I am so sorry to have heard of Curtis passing. I know he was your world and you were his Darka. May you have comfort from your friends and family. If there is anything you need please call. Hugs to you and your family.

I was so sorry to read of Curtis' passing. He was coach in Little League to my son Jamie. And what a coach! He coached the plays and, better yet, to have fun. So many kids would have a better time if there were more coaches like Curtis, always a smile and words of encouragement (with a joke on the side). He will be so missed! He was a great coach and ambassador for the sport in Lethbridge and surrounding areas. Darka and Family , I am so sorry to hear of Curtis's passing. Everytime we saw each other, he took the time to talk with me a few minutes, say something funny , always ask me how I was, and always made me laugh. The first time I ever met you two was at a New Years Eve do , at Tom and Julies Pub. Before he got up to do karaoke he asked me what song I would like , and sure enough he knew it. I will remember that as long as I can. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.

Darka, Jade & Nick, Shocked and deeply saddened! We were all at the lake on Monday laughing when Jaxx told us he lost is swimsuit waterskiing.The boys loved their lake time with their grandpa. A kid at heart which made him a fun Grandpa!
