Any role Donna took on, she was the world's best, whether it was mother, daughter, sister, wife or friend. She was well known and loved for her smiling face as a cashier and bakery clerk at Safeway. Donna will be greatly missed by all.
Donna's body may have given up the fight, but she never did. She was a strong, compassionate, caring, and generous woman. The family wishes to thank all of the people involved in helping Donna with this battle. She had an endless amount of doctors and nurses in both Calgary and Lethbridge who took excellent care of her.

To Carey, Carly, and Andrea... I never met any of you folks, but please accept my condolences on the passing of Donna. I knew first met Donna on Woodward's Food Floor many years ago and, although we didn't have much contact in recent years, when we met at Tim Horton's about a year ago, it was as though no time had passed. As you know, she was that sort of friend.
We send you all our deepest sympathy. We always loved running into Donna, every time you saw her the conversation was always upbeat and cheery, just like her. She was just one of those ladies that always left you with a smile on your face. May you all continue to carry on her smile in your hearts and souls.
