GLEN DALE SIGGELKOW, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Johan passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021.

GLEN DALE SIGGELKOW, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Johan passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021.

Glen was born in Estevan, SK, to parents John and Ruby Siggelkow as the eldest of 6 children and spent his early years on the farm with his family. In 1959, the family relocated to Burdett, AB, where Glen grew up and graduated in 1966. Glen met the love of his life while attending bible college at FGBI in Eston, SK. Glen and Johan married on Sept 21, 1968, and moved to Calgary, AB, where he took a job with Trans-Alta Utilities (Fortis), remaining there until his retirement in 2006.

Glen and Johan welcomed their first daughter, Kathryn, in 1971, and their second daughter Sharlyn in 1974. Shortly after her birth, the family settled in Lethbridge, where they welcomed their third daughter, Robyn, in 1975.

Glen had a love of the outdoors and adventure that was only eclipsed by his love for his family and for his Lord, Jesus Christ. His great joy was to serve those around him, whether in his various volunteer activities, serving in his local church, taking his family on an impromptu excursion, or just noticing when someone around him needed to feel included. Glen possessed a deep and abiding faith in God, and shared that faith through his actions, showing love and honor to all, exemplifying what it means to love others as Christ loved you.

Glen is survived by his wife of 53 years, Johan, his daughters, Kathryn, Sharlyn (Dan), and Robyn, and grandchildren Michaela (Tanner), and Coleton, siblings Gloria (Bob), Mervyn (Mavis), Clifford (Anne), Rhonda, and Timothy, along with numerous cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews, and a large extended family.

A graveside service will be held at the Burdett Cemetery on Friday, Nov. 12, 2021, at 2pm. All are welcome. The Service will not be livestreamed, but a recording of the Service will be available for viewing via Glen's obituary on the Cornerstone website within two business days.

A Celebration of Glen's Life will be held at ONE LIFE CHURCH, 501 - 40 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with a reception to follow the service. All family and friends are welcome to attend. Casual attire and summer colours are completely acceptable.

Glen will be missed, but the memories that we have with him will forever remain.

Our sincerest sympathy to you Johan and your family. We have many wonderful memories of our younger years. We had fun camping at Allison Lake, Kikamon Creek(with the painted turtles), Writing on Stone, camping and teaching with Boys Brigade and girls clubs and skiing trips at Fernie. Those were wonderful times with our families together. Glen was always willing to do whatever and help out wherever needed. Your family was one of our first friends when we moved to Lethbridge and we were very grateful for your friendship. Our prayers are with you at this time. May God's peace be with you all.

My condolences on the loss of your mom. Your mom always was fun-loving and kind, a beautiful lady alway. Throughout my years growing up your mom always had the time to stop and talk and ask how everyone was doing. She was someone special.
