BEATRICE JOAN SINCLAIR, beloved wife of William (Bill) Sinclair of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday January 2, 2017 at the age of 85 years.

BEATRICE JOAN SINCLAIR, beloved wife of William (Bill) Sinclair of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday January 2, 2017 at the age of 85 years.

She was the loving mother of Rogan (Kim) Sinclair, Ferrol (Brian) Nicol, Tracy (Heather) Sinclair and Jolayne (Sidney) Manning. Joan was loved and will be dearly missed by her grandchildren: Stefanie and Brent Nicol, Quinn Sinclair, Christmas and Mickee Sinclair and Martine and Shannelle Manning. She is also lovingly remembered by her nieces, Lorraine and Marlene McCaig.

Joan was predeceased by her parents Violette and John Johnson, her twin sister Jean McCaig and her grandson Kyle Nicol.

Joan was born in Didsbury, Alberta and moved to Lethbridge with her family. She met Bill Sinclair and lived a wonderful life, raising her four children and working at various places including Stokes, CDM meats, Co-op Hatchery and General Farm Supplies. She also supported Bill in his career as a fireman at the Lethbridge Fire Department where they made a whole new family of great friends.

Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved attending their sporting events. Joan loved baseball and candy. She never missed a Blue Jays game and also supported the Lethbridge Bulls for many seasons.

Our family would like to extended a heartfelt thank you to the caring and loving staff at Sunny South Lodge in Coaldale where Joan spent the last three years. We would also like to thank the Healthcare nurses that attended the Lodge, the great nursing staff at the Chinook Regional Hospital as well as her doctors for all their support and care.

At Joan's request, a private family service was held.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joan may be made to the Chinook Regional Hospital, 960-19th Street South, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 1W5.

My deepest condolences on your family's loss. Many many wonderful memories of her while we were growing up - her epic dance moves, being my beauty culture model in high school and being my second mom. Heaven is a more fun and beautiful place with her in it now.

Joan was always one of my very favourite people. Even though there was no blood relation between us, both her and Bill were such a big part of our family. She will surely be missed by many. May you rest in peace Joan
