On January 19, 2017, LYNN STEVENS passed away at the age of 66 after a long and valiant battle with a degenerative illness. Lynn's perseverance continues to serve as an example to her friends and family.
On January 19, 2017, LYNN STEVENS passed away at the age of 66 after a long and valiant battle with a degenerative illness. Lynn's perseverance continues to serve as an example to her friends and family.
Lynn was the devoted daughter of Evelyn and Donald, the caring older sister of Wesley, Louise, Brian, and Cameron, and the patient mother of Colin and Graham. She was also a friend, confidant, and mentor to innumerous others.
Lynn obtained her degree in Fine Art from the University of Windsor and followed in her father's footsteps as a graphic designer in Southern Alberta. Throughout her life, Lynn continued to create art using various mediums and was a member of the Lethbridge Textile Guild. Lynn enjoyed the company of friends and fellow parishioners at Saint Augustine's Anglican Church and regularly volunteered at her church. Through her endeavors, Lynn helped her adopted home develop into the thriving community it is today.
A Funeral Service will be held in honour of Lynn at ST. AUGUSTINE'S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 411-11th Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Canon James Robinson officiating.
Donations in memory of Lynn may be made to the Lethbridge Food Bank, 1016-2nd Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB.
