We are saddened to announce the passing of WALTER WESLEY SWATSKE at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, November 13, 2023 at the age of 76 years.

Wally is survived by his daughter, Allison (Ryan) Meabry; grandchildren: Brittany (Abe), Ty, Chase & Aya; and his older brother, Bob; along with nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Adell; son Mike; parents, John and Dorothy Swatske; and his brother Norm.

Walter "Wally" was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, on February 15, 1947. He later moved to B.C and NWT, and finally, settled in Alberta. Wally enjoyed teaching his son baseball and was the head coach of the team for many years. Later in life, he met his wife, Adell, whom he loved spending time with doing various things such as spontaneous drives and a bit of camping.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Cremation entrusted to Cornerstone.
