Mrs. Vera Annie Telenga passed away peacefully on the evening of November 18, 2011 at the age of 82. Vera was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all those who lives she touched. She was a woman who loved to dance and laugh especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Over the years, Vera collected angels and now has become an Angel herself to watch over her loved ones Vera Telenga was survived by son Dale Telenga and his children, Michael Telenga, Nikki (Jason) Mercer; Mark(Tiffany) Telenga; daughter Sharlene Telenga and her sons, Jeff(Michelle) Wozniczko and Stephen (Tia) Mueller, and daughter Linda Laturnus and her sons, Scott and Matthew Laturnus . She also had 4 great grandchildren Naythan, Nicholas, Evelyn, and Jamie. She was also survived by her two sisters Marie (Doug) Wankel and Ruby (Murray) Weatherall; sisters-in-law Cheryl Dahl, Irene Dahl, and Gloria (Bruce) Patchett as well as numerous nieces & nephews. Vera was predeceased by her beloved husband Floyd; her parents, Olaus & Olga Dahl, brothers, Arthur, Einner, Ernie, Melvin, Oliver, Elvin and Roy Dahl, sisters Violet Shaw & Esther Verity, and son-in-law Mike Laturnus. A Funeral Service will be held at FIRST UNITED CHURCH, 502-13th Street North, Lethbridge on Thursday December 1st at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Brenda Kersall officiating.
