WILLIAM "BADGER BILL" THIELEN, passed away from a heart attack in Calgary, on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the age of 58 years.
WILLIAM "BADGER BILL" THIELEN, passed away from a heart attack in Calgary, on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the age of 58 years.
Bill is survived by his son Chris; siblings David (Becky), Neil (Yvette), Milton, Nadine (Kevin Bolz) and his mother Maryetta. He was predeceased by his son Jon and his father Pudge.
After high school, Bill joined the army and spent ten years in 1 PPCLI. After the army, he did lawn, yard and cement work. He was proud of his regimental coin and flag and displayed them all the time. He also played Warcraft with his son Chris and looked forward to their battles.
The Interment will be held at the MILK RIVER CEMETERY, Milk River, AB, on Sunday, November 11 at 1:30 P.M., with a Reception to follow at the Milk River Civic Centre, 321 - 3 Avenue N.E., Milk River, AB.

Our sincere condolences to Bill's family. Our thoughts and prayers to you all. We will miss seeing him coming around to our house for his many visits. Gone but not forgotten.
My deepest Sympathy to all of the family. I always enjoyed my visits with Bill whenever I ran into him and will miss my kiss on the cheek I always got from him. He could always make us laugh in school, and we will never forget him at our 25th class reunion, singing to all of us on the Karaoke! He will be missed by all of us.
