Miriam, I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that I am thinking of you and your family. Take care.
I'm very sorry for your loss Miriam. Joe was a wonderful man. I will always remember his math class and seeing you both together. My deepest condolences to you and your children.
Mrs. Thompson, I was so sorry to her of Joe's passing - although I had you for a teacher, I never had the honour of being taught by him. It was always so nice to see you walking "the hill" on my runs - it was a great excuse to stop for a visit and a break. Sending you my love and prayers.
This is so sad. He was the best, and I learned so much from him. Take care, Miriam.
So sorry to hear of the loss of Joey(as Dad always called him). Many fond memories of your trips to Nova Scotia. Thinking of you all. Take care. Nancy
Oh Miriam, we are both so sad to hear of the passing of your dear husband. To you and Kirt and Melissa we say remember the great times you all shared together and the things he taught you. He was a great man and will be sadly missed aloha with a big hug to all of you
Best math teacher I ever had, almost saved me from blowing math completely...lol...a great guy...thanks Joe...
I shared the obituary on the Myers Class of '88 page. The comments made are about what a nice man Mr. Thompson was. People say he made math easy. People say he was one of their best teachers. I hope the knowledge of the impact he made to many of his students helps you in this time of grief.
Our sympathies go out to you Miriam and your families. Joe was a good guy, a straight shooter and one heck of a math teacher. But above all he put his students' success first and worked hard to help them achieve their goals. Always fun and a great colleague to work with. He will be missed.
Joe was a wonderful person and my and Tom's favorite teacher! I still tell my children stories about my favorite Math classes with Mr. Thompson. They groan at his jokes just like we did all those years ago. Tom and I are very saddened by his passing. He will be missed. Condolences to you all.
Joe was a kind and fun guy to be with. We enjoyed his and his family's company on many occasions. We will miss him.
