Trevor Antal
1988 – 2025
Trevor spent his early life excelling at sports (primarily hockey and football) and cultivating his work ethic that would define him through his life. He was the cherished son of Carla Hicken and Doug (Leslie) Antal, and step-son to Brian Hicken. His formative years were shared with his siblings, Tyler (Shaylee) Antal, Alissa (Landon) Court, and Brianne Hicken. The joy of his life was his son, Jayce Antal, who he loved more than anything in the world. A man of many talents, Trevor was known for his ability to build almost anything. Trevor was the true definition of craftsman. Hard work was instilled in Trevor at a very young age. Trevor mastered any task he was given, from learning farming and fabrication from his dad and Grandpa Dean, to ranching and construction from his step-dad Brian. By the time he was a teenager, Trevor was proficient in more skills than most grown men. A skilled operator from heavy equipment to a dirt bike, if it had a motor, Trevor could run it. Later on, he would add to his impressive resume becoming a Red Seal power lineman. Trevor loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, Phaetyn, Ivory, Remington, Ava, Wilder, Rocky, Iverson, Reid, and Sadie. Teasing and joking with them was his way of showing his love, and they knew it. Everyone that knows him would agree, Trevor had “Main Character energy” and was a “mommas boy” through and through. The loss of Trevor leaves a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him. He will be remembered for his larger than life presence, sense of humour, and his inability to get through a funny story without laughing at his own wit. Trevor was an outdoorsman. He loved camping and spending time at the lake with his dad, and hunting and fishing with his brother Tyler and step-dad Brian. He was an average at best golfer, but always had the nicest clubs! As we say farewell to Trevor, we are comforted by the memories of his extraordinary life. Trevor was a mountain of a man, and his journey through life will not be forgotten. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Doug and Carla and all your families. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Trevor. I remember when he was born and knew him much better when he was still a little gaffer. What a handsome, talented young man he became and a loving father. There are no words that we can speak that will ease your pain now or ever. In time, may your tears and heartache be replaced with sunshine in your hearts and warm smiles of all the good times and happy memories you will always have with Trevor. Please know that Bob and I are thinking of you at this very sad and painful time and send our love and warm hugs to you and your family. Friends forever, Debbie & Bob
