JANET EILEEN TRUDERING passed away very peacefully in Lethbridge, Alberta in the wee early hours of Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the age of 79 years.
JANET EILEEN TRUDERING passed away very peacefully in Lethbridge, Alberta in the wee early hours of Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the age of 79 years.
Janet was born in Hilda, Alberta on November 13, 1942. She stayed on the farm until she was 18 years old and moved to Medicine Hat. While she was there, she met her beloved husband of 60 years, Bert Trudering.
She is survived by her husband, Bert of Lethbridge and her two daughters, Marla Woods (Trudering) of Ottawa, Ontario and Sandee (Boyd) Thomas of Lethbridge, as well as her sister, Mary (Laverne) Lutz of Medicine Hat, and her brother, Mel (Ann) Durr of Medicine Hat.
She is predeceased by her son, Mark, her sister, Darlene, her father, Gottlieb, and her mother, Mary.
Her love of God and people touched the lives of all who knew her. We will miss her dearly, but we know she is rejoicing in heaven!
A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 - 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Boyd Thomas officiating. The service will be livestreamed and may be accessed via Janet's obituary on the Cornerstone Website.
Following the service, Janet will be laid to rest privately in Royal View Cemetery.
A public Reception will be held at PARALLEL CHURCH, 1 mile east of Lethbridge on Hwy 3, on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 2:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M.

Sending our condolences to Marla, Sandie along with your dad and your families. May beautiful memories come to mind that bring peace and comfort in the days ahead. I remember your mom as being gentle, kind in her nature. We go back along way to our childhood, attending Sunday School at the same church and possibly even youth. It has been nice to re-connect on social media Marla.

I will miss our phone calls and chats about the goodness of the Lord! It was always fun Praying with you Auntie Janet. I am so excited that you get to see it all from The Father's perspective now! Our love goes out to Uncle Bert, Marla & Sandee and their respective families...we recognize the loss on this side of Glory but, rejoice at the promise of Christ!
We are so sorry to hear of Janet's passing. We have many fond memories of the times we spent visiting and praying together. She will be missed. Praying that God will comfort and carry you through this time.

I'm saddened to read of Janet's passing but am so happy we reacquainted just before she moved to Lethbridge. We shared fond memories of our girlhood friendship and the years our friendship continued. Condolences on the death of Janet. She was my mother Esther Reuber-Schlachter' s cousin on her mother's side. My dad often saw Janet at coffee, when she lived in Medicine Hat.
