RONALD JO VANEE, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Le-Anna Currie, passed away at the St. Michael's Health Centre - Palliative Care Unit on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the age of 56 years.
RONALD JO VANEE, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Le-Anna Currie, passed away at the St. Michael's Health Centre - Palliative Care Unit on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the age of 56 years.
His greatest joy were his children: sons Jonas of Lethbridge, Justin of Fort Macleod, and daughter Jordyn of Lethbridge.
Also left to cherish his memory are his sisters: Verna (Ken) Greidanus, Joyce (Ron) Sakamoto and Bonnie (Mike) Jarokosky and their families.
Ron was predeceased by his parents, Johannes "Jo" and Anneke "Anne" Vanee.
A Private Family Graveside Service and Interment will be held at MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY.
A Come and Go Reception will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB., on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 from 2:30 P.M - 4:30 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ron may be made to the St. Michael's Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit, 1400-9th Ave. South, Lethbridge, AB., T1J 4V5

My husband, Keith and I wish to convey our condolence to you on the passing of Ron. May the God of all comfort put His loving arms around you at this difficult time.
We are so deeply saddened by Ron's passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the Vanee family. Ron knew how to live life and enjoy every moment. We will miss him dearly. To Ron's children he is always with you. Hugs
The more enriched a person makes our lives,the harder it is for us to let them go. For this reason, I know that saying goodbye to Ron will be the hardest sorrow to bear. Our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Ron's beloved Le-Anna, and his children Jonas, Justin and Jordyn. For almost 20 years, we were honoured to be counted among Ron's friends. His was a warm smile, a ready laugh and a generous heart. We will forever miss his wry wit and his velvet, melodious voice. We shall treasure forever Ron's friendship, as well as all the friendships that blossomed out of it. We are all better people for having known him. For every word of encouragement, for every hug and for every shared smile, we thank you, Ron. We love you, and we miss you.
