Vosburgh, Garry Wayne
It is with great sadness that we say good-bye to our father, brother, grandfather & uncle on July 1, 2017.
It is with great sadness that we say good-bye to our father, brother, grandfather & uncle on July 1, 2017.
Garry was born, the youngest of 6 children in Lethbridge, AB to Harold & Ruth Vosburgh.
He had an extreme love of music and enjoyed playing the occasion game of crib & on-line backgammon and was a devoted Saskatchewan Roughrider fan.
When his health allowed him, he enjoyed his weekly breakfast trips to Denny's or the casino with a little gambling thrown in.
Garry was diagnosed with myotonic muscular dystrophy at the age of 35, succumbing to the disease at the age of 62.
Garry will be lovingly remembered by his children Valerie (Cameron) Shea, Cari (Josh) Johnston & Tyler Arsenault and cherished grandchildren Jordyn, Rylan & Sawyer. He will also be extremely missed by his sisters Myrna Moulton & Carol (Doug) Borthwick, brothers Norm (Di) & Doug (Jan) and his many nieces & nephews.
Garry was predeceased by his parents Ruth & Harold, his brother Don, brother-in-law Bill Moulton and his wife Cathie.
We wish to thank the staff of Legacy Lodge for the wonderful care that Garry received while he resided there.
If so desired, donations may be made in Garry's honour to Muscular Dystrophy.
At Garry's request there will be no funeral.

I was devastated to hear this news! Garry meant the world to me and always found a way to make me smile during the time I looked after him while working at legacy lodge. I will miss his stories, his smile his love for music and his kind heart!!! One year on my birthday he had the birthday song by the Beatles playing in his room when I walked in!! You will be missed more than you know Garry!!! My thoughts are with his family xoxoxo
