Walter Andronowich

Besides his loving wife, Iris, he is survived by his son Richard (Nicole) Andronowich and grandchildren David and Daniel; and daughter Patty Andronowich (Chris Wardle) and granddaughter Hayley. He is also survived by his sister Mary Oleynik, sister Sophia Pearson, sister Florence (Colin) Kenny, brother Edward Andronowich, sister Linda (Randy) Napady and brother Andrew Andronowich.

Walter is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Signe Andronowich, his brother-in-law Bill Oleynik, sister Francis and brother-in-law Roman Borysko, brother Stanley Andronowich, brother-in-law Bob Pearson, sister-in-law Shirley Andronowich and brother Raymond Andronowich.

A Prayer Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Monday, January 26, 2026 at 7:00 P.M. with Deacon Jim Manzara officiating. The Prayer Service will be live-streamed and may be viewed through Walter’s obituary on the Cornerstone website.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. BASIL’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 – 13 Street North, Lethbridge, AB, on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 10:30 A.M. with Father Santiago Torres celebrating.

Following the Funeral Mass, Walter will be laid to rest in Royal View Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers and in memory of Walter, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (heartandstroke.ca) or a charity of one’s choice.
