JOHN ALEC WATERS, beloved husband of Elizabeth "Betty" Waters, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 30, 2018.
John is survived by his wife Betty and their four sons: Alec Nelson (Jen) and their children Kyle and Kristen; James Darren and his son Rayden; Darrel John (Angela) and their daughter Bailey; and Bryce Carl (Tessa) and their daughters Dior and Charley. He is also survived by his sisters Doris (Boyd) Lensen, Barbara (Gordon) Thielen and Shirley Pittman, brother-in-law Ken (Judy) Hoibak, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
John spent all of his life east of Coutts on the family farm. He was the third generation on the same land. Farming and his horses were his passion. John loved his family. He was always warm and welcoming with his big hugs. John loved the land and he loved his animals. His dogs Jordy and Jackson were always at his side.
At John's request, no formal funeral service will be held. A Celebration of John's Life will be held at a later date.
