Wichers, Marvin
On Sept. 3 we lost a special man who truly embodied humility and kindness. Marvin's compassion and selflessness was known by everyone who came into his life. Marvin loved everyone, but those who held a special place in his heart called him "baby", "papa" and "Luppy".
On Sept. 3 we lost a special man who truly embodied humility and kindness. Marvin's compassion and selflessness was known by everyone who came into his life. Marvin loved everyone, but those who held a special place in his heart called him "baby", "papa" and "Luppy".
His battle with cancer was a short one, but he gave his best fight. He was courageous and strong until he couldn't be anymore and for that, he has become our ultimate warrior.
Marvin leaves behind his one true love, Debbi.
He was predeceased by his father Herman Wichers and is survived by his mother Leida (Herman), his brother Derrick (Jennifer), his sisters Joanne (Peter) and Gerralyn (Burt), his nieces Meagan (great-nephews - Aaron, Jake) and Alisha. Marvin is also survived by his step-children Kandis (Jason), Brody (Lindsay), Rustin (Melissa), his grandchildren Tessa, Talon, Dez, Kaidance, Lucia, Noralea, Nevaeh, Remington, and the little girl who stole his heart, his great-granddaughter Ariya.
The family would like to express a sincere thank-you to the Palliative Care Team and Dr. Coma for the time, commitment, and care they provided for Marvin.
